When Alicia contacted me she was 7 months pregnant with baby number two. She knew she wanted her birth captured because she had made the decision to include her 3-year-old son in the birth room. When I arrived in the birthing space the room was quiet and James was happily playing with his toys.

James was so interested in the whole process. He peeked at the baby’s vitals and asked, "Is that Jordan?" He would walk past his mama checking in to make sure she was alright.

Shortly after I arrived, Alicia had dilated to 9.5 cm and was ready to push! She pushed for an hour before she started crowning.

When Baby Jordan’s head came out Little James was jumping up and down with excitement yelling, “Push, mama, push!” He watched his little brother come into this world with the greatest attitude. He had all the nurses and doctors in complete awe. He never got nervous or scared. He never wanted to leave. He showed excitement, love and laughter. He was so happy to be a part of it and he made everyone more comfortable having his sweet personality in the room. Alicia was so overcome with love that she was smiling and crying happy tears after pushing out her second son.
