Asher Carl | Preemie Newborn Session | Maine

Baby Asher was born on October 20th at 31 weeks gestation via c section. When he was born he weighed just over 4 Lbs and spent 5 and 1/2 weeks in the NICU. The team of doctors and nurses at Maine Medical Center were amazing in taking great care of this little man.

When he came to my studio he was already a whopping two months old! Typically newborn sessions are done in the first two weeks of life so I was a bit unsure of how he would like the posing but boy did he kill it!

Asher arrived here already sleepy and slept for almost his entire session. We even got to get some great shot with his big sister Kynslie Jo. I loved seeing her watch over her baby brother as I posed and snapped photos of him. It was an absolute pleasure having this family in my studio.
